Idli/ Dosa is healthy due to their low-calorie, low-fat, high-fiber, and high-protein content, along with the probiotic benefits of the fermentation process.
Instruction to Use:
If the batter was refrigerated, bring it to room temperature by washing the packet.
Taste the batter and add salt (as required) to the portion you are using.
Adding salt to the entire batter can make it ferment faster and turn sour.
Making Soft and Fluffy Idli's:
The batter should be thick yet pourable. Don’t add water for idlis
Pour the required water in idli cooker and let to boil
Meanwhile pour the batter in greased idli moulds and set in idli cooker
Let it cook for 7-10 mins in medium high flame
Allow the idlis to rest for 2-3 mins in the mould. For best results use a spoon to demould
Now, the soft and fluffy idlis are ready to serve
Making Crispy Dosa's:
Add little water and mix well to thin, pouring consistency
Heat a pan over medium high heat. Grease the pan before pouring the batter
Pour the batter in circular motion to that thin and apply oil/ ghee to get crispy dosas
