- Garlic – 5 gloves
- Red chilly – 3 nos
- Roasted gram – ½ cup
- Tamarind- very small amount
- Salt- as required
- Oil- 1 tsp
- Oil – 1 tsp
- Mustard – ¼ tsp
- Urad dal - ¼ tsp
- Asafetida- ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves – Few leaves
- In a pan, heat the oil and add garlic and give a good roast
- Add red chilly, roasted gram and tamarind one by one. Wait for each to cook
- Transfer to the mixer jar once it cools down to the fine paste along with water
- Make the chutney to a nice watery consistency
- Add salt to taste and pour the prepared tempering on to the chutney
- Now the chutney is ready to serve
