Ridge guard skin- 1 cup
Oil- 1 tsp
Urad dal- 1 tsp
Chana dal- 1 tsp
Red chilli- 3 no’s
Garlic- 10 cloves
Tamarind- Very small
Coconut- 2 tbsp
Salt- as reqired
Curry Leaves - Few Leaves
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard – ¼ tsp
Urad dal - ¼ tsp
Asafetida- ¼ tsp
Curry leaves – Few leaves
In a pan, heat the oil and add urad dal, chana dal, garlic, red chilli and tamarind one by one. Wait until it cooks
Now add Ridge guard skin and cook until it shrinks and turns aromatic
Now let all ingredients cool down. Once it reduces heat add it to a mixer jar along with coconut, curry leaves and salt
Blend it to a smooth paste along with some water
Now adjust the consistency to desired by adding some more water
Now add the prepared tempering on to the chutney
Now the chutney is ready to serve
